Minimise the cost and throughput time of production of services and products and maximize their quality in relationship with the quality requirements, or produce what is requested at the quality which is required.
This optimization program will analyse and improve the business processes which produce the products and/or deliver the services as requested by the customer. This is done by using quantitative and tested optimization methods such as Operations Research and Lean Six Sigma. The primary focus will be on avoiding the “hidden factory”. Additionally, efficiency will be addressed.
This optimization program aims at delivering the products and/or services as requested by the customer at the quality as requested by the customer and at the moment as requested by the customer, by consuming as less resources and time as possible.
This optimization program will provide specific qualitative and quantitative advice on how to improve process performance while lowering cost. This will be in the form of reengineered process design, identification of bottlenecks and information of how to eliminate them, capacity calculations, simulation models and any other analysis and calculation which is necessary to obtain the desired performance improvement.
When to use
Although the Lean Six Sigma approach will enable quantum leaps in process performance, it is advisable to design and implement a program of continuous improvement.

The return on investment of this program depends on the process(es) that need(s) to be optimized, but the applied methodologies and methods have proven to enable important gains in productivity and/or decreases in costs.
